THE SHOW WAS ON!!! We were delighted to share a snowy afternoon concert with an astonishing audience of 120, despite all the weather. One of the 11 singers who couldn't be there because of the snow wrote, "...my true joy in Juneberry comes from going to weekly practices and singing with amazing people and a truly gifted choral conductor. The performance is just the cherry on top of the sundae but we all know that ice cream sundaes are still superb without the cherries."

The Kam people of China have a saying: "Eat rice to nourish the body; sing songs to nourish the heart." You get more than just pleasure from singing. (Although wouldn't it be enough?) Choral singing increases neural connections, fortifies the immune system, and reduces stress and depression. Having this much fun builds health and resilience for individuals, families and communities. Check out articles of science & opinion.
I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. Also in singing, especially when singing is not necessarily prescribed.
