This fall, Juneberry Community Chorus will be singing a beautiful Argentinian song -- here is a chance to observe/participate in a little bit of Argentinian culture right here in the Upper Valley! On the same day from 2-3 on the Hanover Green, there'll be free tango lessons, followed by a concert by the tango quartet, all part of Dartmouth's 250th celebration.
Professor Noelia Cirnigliaro, Dartmouth College, is bringing Argentino Tango to White River Junction! As part of her course, "Tango Argentino: Music, Dance, Poetry, Community," she has invited world class artists from New York City to bring her students and the community (YOU!) together through the language of Argentine Tango.
Because of the benefits of Tango for those with Parkinson's, participation in this workshop is limited to 10-12 people living with PD or other neuromuscular challenge. However, there will be room for your partners or friends to observe! Our dancers will partner with Professor Noelia's students.
