Program Info
Flow Singing is a presence practice rooted in the physical experience of songs in community. As a Flow Singing songleader, you create respectful, inclusive space in which people can practice sensing sound through singing and experiencing vibration and movement. Songleaders share songs in a framework inspired by Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects. Songleaders practice welcome, generosity, listening, delight, and presence. This ancient, grounding work becomes a resource that helps you and your participants show up with freedom, power, and integrity in a complex world.
Training to be a Flow Singing songleader is paced with generosity and space, giving time for your body and mind to absorb and integrate information and build skill into more instinctual action. You will also be creating your own library, offering, publicity, and support for yourself as a songleader. You have extensive access to both Patricia and your classmates as you explore and digest the material, finding what serves you and your vision.

You created a very, very comfortable and warm and loving environment that allowed me to show up happily as myself for every session. – Kindred Voices Flow Singing participant

I really appreciated how Patricia welcomed all the different skill levels. The organization of the class was thoughtful and very easy to access. She was always on time and clear in her correspondence. She provided SO many useful tools for learning, it was quite amazing. Her systems for giving student-student feedback were invaluable and so new for me to both give and receive such support. Patricia puts a lot of heart and enthusiasm into her work and it’s contagious!
