Flow Singing Songleader Training
I rolled in so shut down and inflexible and am going home cracked wide open to what's possible... Flow singing was life changing.

I didn't expect the depth of feeling, the depth of sharing, and the breadth of expansion I would experience. I didn't expect to feel such a level of connection, an ability to share my world grief & at the same time – or almost at the same time – the level of joy...

What will you have at the end of the program?
My slant is Flow Singing -- a presence practice --
but what you learn will apply to any community songleading situation.
Skills to share songs clearly, effectively, and inclusively:
Selecting songs to share
How to chunk songs for learning
Making the pulse visible
How to select ranges your group can sing
Choosing what to do when a group isn't "locking in"
What's helpful when individuals struggle with pitches or rhythms
....as well as....
Comprehensive access to more songs
Concrete language and actions for brave spaces
An intro to natural voice care for yourself and your singers
Experience with group improvisation and vocal games
Ideas for doing this work sustainably and with integrity
Techniques to include presence awareness in songleading
Mentors and song-kindred to help guide your way
Next steps to offer group singing in your own community

Your lessons are extraordinary, resonating (pun?!) with much life wisdom which I already embrace and awakening me to the voice connectedness… Thank you for helping me perceive trust (& joy!) as we move forward. – Nancy W., voice student

I loved taking classes with Patricia! I loved the blend of structure and freedom in our classes – she made sure we got the foundations down solid, and then encouraged us to play and find our way into creative expressions that served our own souls. The design of the curriculum and lessons were so thoughtful and intentional. Our cohort became incredibly close because she created spaces where we were able to connect and support each other deeply, building our collaboration skills alongside our musicianship. – Eileen W., Modal Muscle online class participant

I'm loving the experience, the music, and the group, and so appreciate your gift for creating a sense of safety, connection, synchronicity, and spiritual peace, plus choosing, teaching, and leading such lovely music (and writing a lot of it too!). This is really healing and joyful. – Abbie W., Flow Singer
What does it cost?
In 2019, I was debating with myself about whether or not to take a Flight School training with Lisa Littlebird. It involved a trip across the country for a retreat, in addition to extensive online course time, both live and pre-recorded. I was hesitant -- and someone gave me really good advice.
"Don't think just about the cost of doing it -- think about the cost of not doing it."
What would it cost me NOT to be receive experienced help in songleading?
I came out of that training with connections to song leaders, a set of songs I loved, ways to keep growing, and the permission to offer the kind of singing I was yearning for -- directly connected to the body, with words that helped me navigate my life. And I designed this training to do the same for you.
Songleading training was worth every moment of my time, every dollar of my investment.
I believe Flow Singing Songleader Training will be worth it for you!
Two thoughtfully designed online sessions, lifetime access to resources, and a
four day in-person retreat in Burlington, VT
